Whole Cow Deposit
This is your deposit for a whole cow!
I will contact you about three weeks before your cow goes to the processor and we will go over your cut sheet and options! Whole animals are sold by hanging weight. Our whole animals are $7 per pound of hanging weight plus the processing fee (this fee depends on how you get your animal processed.)
Example: You have paid your $1000 deposit. Your hanging weight is 690 pounds ( This is a estimate 630-740 is my normal i would say) so 4,830 minus the 1,000 you have already paid. PLUS your processing fee - we use Piedmont Custom Meats and right now they are at $1.30 per pound hanging weight (hanging weight and processor fee will come from the USDA inspected slaughterhouse.)
